The recent article in AnnArbor.com about injured player Caitlin Rize being given the opportunity to participate in her final home game on Senior Night was inspiring. The compassion that Dexter's coach Mike Bavineau and Ypsilanti's coach Chris Slater showed, allowing her to score, unopposed, was amazing. A season ending injury is devastating.
