Jane Lumm can be trusted to do the right thing for Ward 2 residents

By Letters to the Editor

I am proud to be a supporter of Jane Lumm in her run for City Council representative, 2nd Ward.

Thanks to Jane, for the first time in six years, I am receiving information, 2 newsletters (September and October) and even a personal visit from our current city council person, Stephen Rapundalo. This is the first time I have ever had any communication in print, via e-mail, or personally, with Mr. Rapundalo. And I have never had a personal response to my e-mails sent to him. Maybe elections are a good thing!

In the case of Mr. Rapundalo, it is much too late. Jane has my vote. Jane has open lines of communication, responds, personally, to e-mails and phone calls and when I have asked for her assistance, she has been there. Whenever I have contacted Jane for her guidance/direction regarding city issues, she has always responded promptly and most importantly has followed thru on what she said she would do.

The latest situation involved the Huron Hills Golf Course/Park. Jane attended meetings, provided updated information and helped to provide a focus to our “fight” which was to keep Huron Hills as it is: a successful golf course and scenic park. The 2nd Ward will be, truly, fortunate to have Jane as our representative on City Council: a person that can be trusted “to do the right thing.” I urge all Ward 2 residents to vote for Jane on Election Day, Nov. 8. Jane is the right choice.

Jane Lumm should be thanked for giving voters a real choice in the Second Ward. She is a quality candidate and will make a great City Council member.

No, but it the Green Party folks did support Ms. Lumm, they would be making an excellent choice.

Are you speaking on behalf of the Green Party this time too?

She has my vote. Now get the pedestrian ordinance repealed ASAP!
