Vote "NO" on Proposal 1 for a Constitutional Convention (Con-Con). The estimated cost for a Con-Con will exceed $45 million; money that could be better spent for schools, roads, and public safety. A Con-Con would cause uncertainty among investors and hinder efforts in creating jobs. The voters of Michigan have been able to amend the present constitution without changing the entire document.
