Knowing that this November’s election in Michigan would be very important, I started researching the candidates for state representative for my district right after the primary. My research into both candidate’s background and experience confirmed that I will by voting for Rick Olson.

I am extremely impressed with Rick’s background in education and business. I believe that Rick will be an advocate for education and that he is what we need in Michigan with our faltering economy. We are paying too much for education in the state of Michigan and our children and grandchildren are falling behind. This is not acceptable! On Tuesday, Nov. 2nd, I will be voting for Rick Olson for the 55th District State Representative seat and I encourage others to do the same. Sandra J. Weathers Ypsilanti
