Rise & Fall: Homeowner who caught Christmas caper on video surveillance and Blimpy Burger
One provided evidence to help identify a Christmas decorations thief and the other is an Ann Arbor staple with plans to move from its nearly 60-year location.
Here are our picks for Sunday's winner and loser from the news.

After an unknown man swept up $1,000 worth of Christmas decorations from Ann Arbor Hills, Burns Park and other neighborhoods, it left many residents wanting answers — which luckily, one of them was able to provide. The target who turned in the home surveillance video could lead to naming the thief who stole Christmas.

As an Ann Arbor institution since 1953, Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger seems to belong on the corner of South Division and Monroe — and residents weren't happy to find out University of Michgian is planning to buy the building known as the home of slinging sliders. With many questions still lingering on what is to come of Krazy Jim's, moving the location of the building is sure to sadden the restaurant's legion of loyal customers.

Blimpy's is at the corner of S Division, Packard and E Madison; the property borders 3 streets Monroe is 1 block south of Madison, and used to intersect Packard until the city closed it off. So they weren't that far off...

aturid You are of course correct that there is no such intersection as Monroe & S Division. I was speaking of the similarity in names of Monroe & Madison (historical names of the same time period both beginning with 'M') and the similarity in locations. They got 1 street name correct; were close on the other; and the street that was incorrect is only a block away. And it used to intersect Packard as Madison does. Similar name; similar location; used to be similar type of intersection with Packard. It's not like they said the corner of S Division and E Liberty.

But there is no such thing as "South Division and Monroe". It was and is a non-existent intersection.
