News of the death of Osama bin Laden - the world's most-sought terrorist since he masterminded the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the U.S. - spread quickly across the globe late Sunday as President Barack Obama confirmed the reports.
Emotional reaction quickly followed, from former President George W. Bush to politicians to multitudes of Americans who celebrated the death of bin Laden and also remembered the devastation of the attacks.
