Paving to begin on Bunton Road in Ypsilanti Township Thursday
A portion of Bunton Road in Ypsilanti Township will be under construction for about four days, beginning Thursday.
Crews hired by the Washtenaw County Road Commission will be re-paving about 2 miles of the road between Bemis and Textile roads.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane during the road work, and access will be controlled by a flagger.
Residents and businesses on Bunton Road will still be accessible during construction.

It would be nice if the WCRC could pay attention to the Augusta Twp unpaved roads like McKean (Bemis Rd south). I can't wait to dodge the chunks of rocks they dump to fill the road craters when the thaw begins. Oh joy - yet ANOTHER winter of moto-cross driving!

When I used to go down that stretch of road I pretty much kept the " petal to the metal " down the Shultz farm.I wonder what the people who live on the road think about it

Now if they can just keep the car radios from blasting away in that area.
