By Ronald Ahrens

Foot traffic in the area of Michigan Stadium is very heavy as graduates and spectators leave following the University of Michigan commencement exercises and President Barack Obama's speech

Ann Arbor police said vehicle traffic around town is also congested, and motorists are likely to encounter conditions similar to those following a football game.

Police said congested conditions would likely persist for some time.
