By Kyle Feldscher

Pittsfield Township police are on the look out for Patrick Wiggy Taylor, a 19-year-old man suspected in numerous home invasions and a person of interest in an incident from early Friday morning.

Detective Lt. Sean McCormick said a home invasion on the 3100 block of Oak Drive, where a homeowner reported his television had been stolen while he and his wife were sleeping, fits the pattern of the earlier crimes Taylor is a suspect in, but the stolen item is different.

Taylor is suspected in multiple home invasions, according to police. He has a warrant for his arrest for a previous home invasion, after he didn't show up for a preliminary examination.

All of the incidents have occurred between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. while the homeowners are sleeping and have been in the area of Ellsworth Road and Golfside Road.

Taylor is described as a 5-foot-10 black male, about 160 pounds with a cross tattoo on his upper right arm. He has a bench warrant for his arrest for failure to appear at an exam on a first-degree home invasion charge.

Anyone who has information that may lead to Taylor’s arrest is encouraged to email McCormick, or call him at 734-822-4951, or email Det. Jason Hohner or call him at 734-822-6056.

Anyone with information can also call the Pittsfield Township tip line at 734-822-4958.

Is there a protocol for publishing mug shots in AA.com? Is it only if the suspect is being sought, but not charged? I'm concerned that I'm seeing a pattern of those charged or sought in many recent stories (i.e. the woman who ran over the man on the bus stop on Huron, Josh the safe stealer who's image seems to be simple enough to find on Facebook, but neither had mug shots on AA.com). I do hope the pattern that seems to be emerging is not as it appears.

The RAPIST is in Ann Arbor, NOT Pittsfield Township. Second, a well placed period, comma, and semi-colon would do wonders to your comment.

This is the type of guy, that you arrest and keep locked up until the preliminary examination. I doubt that he is (out-standing) anywhere near the area. Those that know him, or where he is won't call information in, due to no reward being offered.
