Police arrest man who threatened Ypsilanti residents after break-in
Ypsilanti police arrested a 23-year-old man for home invasion, illegal entry and malicious destruction of property after two residents arrived home early Saturday to find him on their couch.
There were no injuries reported in the incident, which occurred around 1 a.m. Saturday on the 100 block of South Washington Street.
According to a police report, a female resident found the suspect on her couch. The suspect made threatening moves toward a male resident who confronted him, police said.
Charges are pending.
