Police chase ends with crash involving semi on I-94 in Ann Arbor
An early morning police chase that started in Wayne County ended with a crash involving a semi tractor-trailer on I-94 in Ann Arbor, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash occurred at about 3:20 a.m. on westbound I-94 near State Street when the fleeing vehicle ran into the back of a semi, troopers said.
The driver was not injured and was taken into custody, police said. The semi driver also was uninjured.
Police said the chase started in Romulus, but no information was available on what led to the chase.
Troopers said the freeway isn't closed as a result of the crash, and morning rush hour won't be impacted.
No further details were immediately available this morning.

My husband was the semi driver and he is just fine. His trailer took all of the damage.

I heard that this morning. The driver was a teen who stole a car from Romulus and took them on a 30 minute jaunt to Ann Arbor. Wow. What a car ride chase that must have been. Glad to hear everyone walked away.
