Police investigate bomb threat at Ypsilanti Township store

By Amalie Nash

Washtenaw County Sheriff's deputies investigated a bomb threat at a store in the 2100 block of Ellsworth Road in Ypsilanti Township Wednesday evening.

A man called the store at about 8 p.m. claiming a bomb was inside, a sheriff's summary said.

The summary did not say the name of the store. A canine from St. Joseph Mercy Hospital searched the building, but didn't locate anything suspicious, the summary said.

Police are investigating to determine who placed the call.

Well, I'm so glad to have this much info. When these articles are posted, does the author actually speak to a law enforcement information officer or just cut and past?
