Police investigate break-ins near Manchester
The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department is warning residents in the southwestern part of the county to be on the lookout for suspicious activity following one break-in and one attempted break-in Monday.
In the first incident, someone attempted to enter a pole barn in Manchester Township at about 9:20 a.m. The outside door frame was damaged but entry wasn't gained, reports said.
At 3:15 p.m., state police troopers investigated a burglary in the 14000 block of Waters Road in Freedom Township. Entry was gained through the front door, and multiple items were taken, police said.
No suspects have been identified in either case.
Police are asking residents to keep an eye out for any suspicious vehicles or people and report them by calling 911.

The militia was called to Bridgewater to help look for a missing person not Manchester.

I'm guessing that Manchester officials won't call the militia for assistance this time.
