Dear AA.COM, I hardly think this is appropriate "reporting" of a missing Ann Arbor resident. Shouldn't her picture be on the FIRST page EVERY DAY!? She's missing! One of the best tools we have are the people of Ann Arbor and surrounding areas to help with her safe return. I am guessing that my posting the story on FB has given it more press than the current fifth page home this rag has given it. Shame on you.

The news should consider running this sort of message upfront so the public, whose help is being sought, will see it immediately. Ditto for when the emergency is called off.

Ashley Gillette, take it from someone who knows: there is another side of Midnight. Many people are right now hoping for your safety and your return home.

I hope that she returns safely as well. It must be very hard on a family when a loved one is missing, especially a young member of the family.
