Portion of Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti Township to close beginning Wednesday

A temporary lane closure will take place on Michigan Avenue between Hewitt Road and Ellsworth Road in Ypsilanti Township beginning Wednesday to install a sanitary sewer, according to a Washtenaw County Road Commission news release.
Two-way traffic will be maintained on Michigan Avenue during the construction, which is estimated to be done by Sept. 17. Traffic delays are expected, according to the release.
