Ms English thank you very much for enjoying our beautiful road LeForge. I have lived on this road most of my life and the best time was when wasn't paved. It was a dirt road and talk about beautiful road it was. Now it's a race track very hard for the folks to get out of our drive ways.

When I was using both Superior Road and Le Forge Road to get to Geddes, I thought Le Forge was the more beautiful route to take. Wondering if some motorists will discover the summer beauty along Le Forge due to the Superior Road closing.

Closing Maple Road as the story suggests would trap several dozen residents of Byington, etc, with no way out except by canoe. Several calls to the Road Commission and Scio township (no help, no interest) finally established that it's the RR crossing that will be closed, either for several hours or a couple of days), NOT Maple Rd, our only path to freedom and fresh milk. One representative suggested leaving by a non-existant road connection to Stein. Perhaps we should get together and buy them a county map.

A county map would cost much, much less than a new bridge from Daleview Drive to Huron River Drive.
