Storms knock out power for several hundred DTE Energy customers in Ann Arbor area
Several hundred DTE Energy customers in Washtenaw and southern Livingston counties were still dealing with a power outage this morning following thunderstorms Wednesday night.
DTE spokesman Scott Simons said power should be restored for all those customers sometime today.
About 400 customers were without power in the Hamburg area of southern Livingston County, according to the DTE Energy power outage map. Nearly 300 were without power in scattered areas of Washtenaw County, mostly to the north and east of Ann Arbor.
The storms caused more damage in areas to the east of Ann Arbor. Several thousand DTE customers were without power in Oakland and Wayne counties.
A reprieve from recent stormy weather is in store for the next few days. The forecast calls for mostly to partly sunny skies through Sunday.

Its too bad that DTE is restoring power to these people, they are saving the planet by reducing their reliance on Fossil fuels!

Aaah. The cooler temps this morning made walking the dogs a pleasure, of course didn't like the storms last night but gotta take the good with the bad.
