A recount upheld the results of the August primary election in the race for the 3rd Ward seat on the Ypsilanti City Council.
The recount, conducted Tuesday by the Washtenaw County Board of Canvassers, verified the original vote tallies counted after the election.

I sure hope the city is going to bill Windish for the cost of the recount. Its not like the initial tally was 438 windish to 440 murdock. ITS WAS MURDOCK 440 AND WINDISH 47 LOLOLOL. Did Windish truely think that he was going get a close to 400 vote swing in the recount???? lol I am glad that he did not win (either initially or on the recount) as his total lack of respect for the financial situation of the city of cyrstal clear at this point. Oh and AA.com. its YPSILANTI not YSPILANTI like it says in the headline, LOL. WOW (my 10 year old caught that mistake reading over my shoulder!!!!!)
