By AnnArbor.com Staff

The Washtenaw County Road Commission on Monday will begin asphalt paving operations on Ellsworth Road between Maple Road and State Road in Pittsfield Township, with delays likely, according to a media advisory from the road commission.

Paving work is expected to take approximately five days. Traffic will be restricted to one lane during the day.

Motorists are asked to be mindful of construction equipment and personnel and reduce speeds accordingly.

Glad for the reminder; I couldn't tell that anything was different as I turned east onto Ellsworth from State, but often I do use the section of Ellsworth currently being resurfaced. Hope I don't notice crowding on westbound I-94 or Eisenhower as alternative routes.
