Road closure in northwest corner of Washtenaw County

By Kody Klein

The segment of Joslin Lake Road between Boyce and Kaiser roads in Lyndon Township will be closed for about three days beginning Wednesday, reported the Dexter Leader.

The Washtenaw County Road Commission announced the closure as part of construction on the Enbridge Energy Company pipeline.

Drivers are encouraged to take the Hadley Road to North Territorial Road detour.

Joslin Lake is awfully close to the northern border of Washtenaw County, all right, but doesn't straddle counties, like Strawberry Lake and Whitmore Lake do.

When we wrote the initial story announcing the series of road closures due to the Enbridge pipeline construction (see the link in the "Related content" section above) the Washtenaw County Road Commission anticipated that portion of Joslin Lake Road would be closed for three days beginning Feb. 12. Looks like they're slightly behind schedule.
