Road construction will likely continue to cause periodic traffic headaches for Washtenaw County motorists traveling on U.S. 23 on the east side of Ann Arbor for several more days.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will continue single lane closures for concrete patching along northbound and southbound U.S. 23 between Washtenaw Avenue and M-14 through 6 a.m. Monday. The lane closures began Friday at 9 p.m.

MDOT also plans to implement the same lane closures overnight during the coming week. The lanes will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. The overnight closures begin Monday and end Thursday morning.
MDOT also has nightly lane closures for resurfacing in effect along eastbound and westbound M-14 from U.S. 23 to the Wayne County line until the end of July. The overnight closures are from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
