Roads in Lodi, Scio and Lyndon townships closed until further notice

By AnnArbor.com Staff

The Washtenaw County Road Commission announced today that three stretches of roads - in Lodi Township, Scio Township and Lyndon Township - will be closed until further notice.

Ellsworth Road between Tessmer Road and Wagner Road in Lodi Township was closed Sunday due to erosion and culvert failure. The road, which is a dirt road in that area, will remain closed indefinitely.

In Scio Township, the Road Commission closed Liberty Road today between Honey Run Drive and Stags Leap Lane due to severe flooding. That section of roadway is regularly closed due to flooding.

In Lyndon Township, Goodband Road between North Lake Road and Crescent Drive was closed Sunday until further notice due to flooding and erosion.

Anyone who has questions can call the Road Commission at 734-761-1500.
