Rudolf Steiner School Top Scholars

Rudolf Steiner will hold its 2012 graduation ceremonies Saturday, June 16, 11 a.m. at the Michigan League Ballroom, with a reception to follow at the high school. The class includes 17 graduates.

Sam Reed
Parents: Diane Reed of Northville and Dennis Reed of Dexter
Activities and Awards: Sam was a varsity cross-country runner, and was active in school theater productions throughout his four high school years. He participated in the Middle American Model United Nations Program. Music has been a focus for him participating in choir all four years, a string quartet as a freshman and sophomore, and anchoring the school jazz band for the past two years. Outside of school he has been employed for the past three years.
Plans After Graduation: Sam will attend the University of Michigan, College of Engineering, with an interest in aerospace engineering and physics.




Callie Schultz

Parents: Ann and Scott Schultz of Whitmore Lake
Activities and Awards: Callie played varsity basketball all four high school years, and also played varsity soccer and ran cross-country. She performed in drama productions in all four years, and played Hecuba in The Trojan Women. She participated in the Middle America Model United Nations program for two years, contributed in the Community Service Club, and traveled to the Great Smoky Mountains with the Hiking Club twice. A strong singer she was part of the choir for all four years, and also sang in the women’s vocal ensemble during her senior year. She played the violin for three years, and flute for four, participating regularly in state competition.
Plans After Graduation: Callie plans to attend Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, and will be studying environmental science.
