Saline City Council: Seats go to Alicia Ping, Glenn Law and Pat Ivey
Saline's three City Council seats up for grabs went to Alicia Ping, Glenn Law and Pat Ivey.
The close four-way race saw 2,058 of the city's 6,519 registered voters cast ballots.
According to the county's unofficial results, Ping was the top vote-getter with 1,398, followed by Glenn Law with 1,327 and Ivey with 1,185. Trailing was Sal Randazzo with 1,011.
Ivey, the father of two daughters educated in the Saline school system, works as a circulation manager with Detroit Media Partnership. He has previous experience as a member of the Saline City Council, where he worked as a liaison between the council and the city’s parks and recreation office.
Law, an incumbent about to finish his third term, is an elementary school teacher and Canadian native who has resided in Saline with his wife and daughter since 2000. In 2007, Law served as mayor pro tem, and currently chairs the Special Projects Commission.
Ping, a council member since 1998, has been a vocal presence on numerous committees around the city, including the Sister City Committee and the City of Saline Zoning Board of Appeals.

Thanks to all who voted and who supported me for re-election. I will work hard to represent all of the citizens of Saline and cooperate with my colleagues on City Council to keep our city a nice place to live in.
