Check out Park & Museum Passes at the Library
As summer continues, it is never to late to plan field trips and adventures. Saline District Library offers the Park and Read Pass at http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-153-10365-215611--,00.html which is good for a free one day access pass to Michigan state parks, museums and historic sites. In addition to this program, check out the Museum Adventure Pass at http://www.detroitadventurepass.org.
The Museum Adventure Pass program allows patrons to check out passes for museums and other attractions in Michigan. Many patrons may already be familiar with this very popular program from last year. However, this year there will be a few changes, with the main change being that obtaining the passes and information about them can all be done online at http://www.detroitadventurepass.org website. This website will also allow patrons to ask questions and get reading recommendations related to the various exhibits. Remember, the library also has plenty of travel books and resources to help you plan your adventures as well.
Make sure to stop by the library or visit http://www.salinelibrary.org for all the latest news and information on events and services.
