Move over groundhog, February is being dubbed "Furry February" — of the mouse sort — in Saline.

Two Twelve Arts Center and the Downtown Saline Merchants Association are sponsoring a contest for downtown shoppers with 11 mouse houses hidden throughout downtown stores that were created by Two Twelve Arts Center artists.

Participants in the mouse house hunt can get a playing card from one of the participating merchants and fill it with a stamp as they discover each mouse house location. When the card is full, visitors can turn it in to one of the participating locations for a chance to win a gift basket full of goodies.

Participating merchants are Pineapple House, Maureen’s Designs, New Era Chiropractic, The Bling Thing, Spotted Dog Winery, Accent Jeweler, The Resale Boutique, New Hairizon, Cobblestone Rose, My Favorite Cafe, and Two Twelve Arts Center.
