Saline is working with Terry McGinn of Career Directions, an executive search firm of Ann Arbor, in its quest to find the right candidate for the city following the retirement of Paul Bunten.

“The data collection process will include information gathering from the town hall meeting, a meeting with city department heads and a meeting with Saline Police Department personnel,” according to information from the city.

The information will be used to develop a candidate profile for the position.

“This town hall meeting is extremely important for residents and local businesses to attend, as the information received will help to determine the foundation for the candidate profile for the next Saline police chief,” Mayor Gretchen Driskell said in a news release.

The meeting will take place at Saline City Hall council chambers, 100 N. Harris St., and will begin at 7:30 p.m.
