How do you become an informed voter? Reliable election information is easy to find, if you know where to look. We suggest that you log on to http://salinelibrary.org/websites_voting.html to connect to our special Voting Information Page.

The Secretary of State website provides essential voting guidance, from registration to polling locations. If you’d like to examine a sample ballot, just enter your address into the website and locate a copy. If you need more information about the Michigan ballot proposals, an analysis of all 6 proposals can be found on the CRC (Citizen’s Research Council of Michigan) website. Where do the candidates stand on the issues? We have a link to a site called OnTheIssues for information on the positions of Michigan politicians. Votesmart.org is a national database that also gives you coverage of any particular candidate’s stance and voting record on specific issues. Please check our voting page for other important voting information, including the popular League of Women Voters of Michigan. The site is free and open to the public.
