Scenes from MLK on the Diag 2013

A large audience gathered on the Michigan campus for the annual MLK on the Diag on Monday. The event is coordinated by the Michigan Community Scholars Program and included music, a step show and poetry.

Staff photographer Daniel Brenner was there to capture images.

So this is a large crown and when thousands of people accross the country gathered to protest gun control legislation it was reported as hundreds. I guess it depends which propagandist is writing the storing as to how it gets written. They should have at least photoshopped a few more people into the picture.................

I attended the MLK celebration at U of M. It was of course a cold day, so when not walking from one event to the next people were inside the buildings.Most speakers and events were standing room only.

So that's a "Large crowd? Ghez can't you people report without spin? I guess it was MLK so we need to do all we can to make it the biggest and best in the eyes of the public,Huh?
