By AnnArbor.com Staff

There's good news and bad news for drivers on Ann Arbor-Saline Road in Lodi Township.

The bad news? You can't drive that stretch of road this weekend.

The good news? The road should be a smoother ride come Monday.

The Washtenaw County Road Commission says Ann Arbor-Saline Road between Wagner Road and Maple Road is expected to be closed between 7:30 a.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday.

Crews will be performing pavement milling and resurfacing over the weekend.

The Road Commission warned that the planned Sunday evening opening could be impacted by any inclement weather.

Traffic on Ann Arbor-Saline Road will be detoured using Wagner Road, Textile Road and Maple Road. Local traffic to and from adjacent properties along the closed section of Ann Arbor-Saline Road will be maintained.

Work on Ann Arbor-Saline Road between Wagner and Maple Roads is correct. Maple Road intersects Ann Arbor-Saline Road north of Saline.

this comment is in the wrong place. Did you mean "between Wagner and Textile"? Maple is on the other (South)side of Saline.

thanks for showing to the community that you care. that officers with bad intentions want be tolerated. the worst thing about this is that people not of the community thinks that everything an officers does is right until it happens to them. officers have a very important role in the community but its not to over abuse their authority, use intimadation or provocation to resolve issues. there has been a lot of laws pass to protect the officers, now we need some of the laws back to protect us.
