Several thefts reported in Ann Arbor on Wednesday
Several thefts were reported Wednesday near the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor.
Among them, a man in the the 800 block of Hill Street reported both his MacBook Pro and his iPod were stolen from his house sometime between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
He said entry was gained through an unlocked door in the basement of the house.
In another theft, a man reported his backpack - which contained a powerpoint clicker - was stolen after he set it down during a party a fraternity in the 1000 block of Hill. The theft occurred sometime between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
A woman also reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle in the 2300 block of Huron sometime between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., the Ann Arbor Police Department reported. One of her credit cards had already used in Ypsilanti and Southgate.
