Authorities are investigating a small fire Sunday morning at the leasing office at Rivers Edge Apartments in Ypsilanti.

Ypsilanti police do not have any suspects in the 6:11 a.m. suspected arson, a police incident log said.

Officers responded to an alarm at the Green Road office, saw a small amount of smoke, and discovered a piece of paper was on fire. The paper was surrounded by personal checks and money orders, the log said.

Authorities have sent the paper to a laboratory for analysis.
