Study: Antibiotics prescribed too much to Michigan children

Antibiotic prescriptions to children in Michigan rose 4.5 percent from 2007 to 2009, a study by The Center for Healthcare Research & Transformation found, the Detroit Free Press reported Monday.
The center, which is based in Ann Arbor, found that antibiotic prescriptions for adults dropped 9.3 percent in the same period.
