Two men who kicked in the front door of a Superior Township home Tuesday were confronted by the homeowner and were scared away, Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said.

The incident occurred at about 11 a.m. in the 1700 block of Savannah Lane, a sheriff's department incident summary said.

Deputies were unable to locate the men.

The homeowner did not provide investigators with a detailed description of them.
