After a briefing this morning, the National Transportation Safety Board today concluded the pilot and carrier were the cause of the June 2007 crash of a jet carrying a University of Michigan medical team, according to a Detroit Free Press article.

The article reads in part:

"A June 2007 crash of a flight carrying a University of Michigan medical team was probably caused by the pilots’ mismanagement of the aircraft after takeoff, safety deficiencies attributed to the carrier company and the Federal Aviation Administration’s failure to address those deficiencies., the National Transportation Safety Board concluded today."
