Three crashes affecting morning commute in Ann Arbor area

By Cindy Heflin

At least three separate crashes were reported on freeways in the Ann Arbor area Friday morning

One crash was on the ramp from Barton Drive to eastbound M-14, a dispatcher said. Another was on eastbound M-14 west of the east triple-decker intersection with U.S. 23. A third was on eastbound Interstate 94 just west of Dancer Road. That crash involved four cars, a dispatcher with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said.

None of the crashes was blocking traffic, the dispatcher said just after 8 a.m. Further information was not immediately available.

Isn't the Barton Drive ramp the two way "hairpin turn?" It is an eastbound entrance ramp and a westbound exit ramp.
