Two apartments at Arbor Pointe burglarized overnight, Pittsfield Township police say

Two apartments in the same building were burglarized overnight while the residents were away, Pittsfield Township police say.

The break-ins occurred in the 2000 block of Arbor Circle West in Arbor Pointe Apartments.

Officers were called to one apartment at 2:38 a.m., where the apartment door was forced open to gain entry, reports said. They discovered another apartment door also had been forced.

No one was home at either residence when the break-ins occurred, likely sometime during the late evening or early morning hours, reports said.

Electronics, jewelry and other items were taken, reports said. 

No arrests have been made.
