Two arrested after armed robbery of pizza delivery driver in Ypsilanti

Two men were arrested Saturday after Ypsilanti police say they robbed a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint in the 700 block of Clark Road.

The 26-year-old victim told police the men put a gun to his head, went through his pockets and brought him to a vacant apartment, where they told him to get on the floor, a police news release said.

The Ypsilanti men, ages 22 and 19, were arrested by officers shortly after the 10:26 p.m. incident.

No weapon was recovered.

Wow, pizza guy was lucky. I tell my kids to NEVER, EVER go to a secondary location.

That rarely turns out well. Better to fight and be wounded where you're likely to be found....

He better go buy a lotto ticket.

As for the criminals, $77 and pizza takes care of their immediate needs. Doubtful they have the capability of thinking beyond that or they wouldn't be doing this would they?
