University of Michigan bike-riding camp boosts confidence for kids with disabilities

A CBS News report profiles a University of Michigan camp that teaches children with autism and Down Syndrome how to ride bikes.

Bike riding is important skill for children with these disabilities, University of Michigan researcher Dale Ulrich told CBS. "It gives you a way to become more independent, to become more social," Ulrich said in the article. "Those are the two characteristics that children with Down's Syndrome and autism need to improve on."
