"The students at Michigan are all phenomenal vocalists," Carrie Gardner, senior casting director at New York's Roundabout Theatre Company, told the Journal. "They walk out of that school ready to sing on a Broadway level, and most of them are triple threats. You just don't see very many in the other schools."

With Brent Wagner at the helm, the Musical Theatre Department is the best in the land. The students in this program are not only talented - they are delightful human beings. Unfortunately, they seem to be the only UM grads getting jobs out of school (with the exception of one or two football players)...

almost all of my friends from Michigan graduated with jobs (and well paying jobs at that). It just depends on what you study. Engineering, business, and the hard sciences=job, english/humanities=no job.
