Nine people were arrested and nine others issued citations at today's University of Michigan football game. University of MIchigan Police spokeswoman Diane Brown said it was the most raucous home crowd of the season, but "typical of an Ohio State game."

Five of the arrests were for minors in possession of alcohol. There was one arrest each on charges of violating a controlled-substance law, resisting and obstructing police, disorderly conduct, and an outstanding warrant from another police agency.

Eight of the citations were for possession of alcohol in the stadium. The other was for entering the playing field.

In addition, 51 people were ejected from the stadium: 20 for possessing alcohol in the stadium, 13 for possessing another person's ID, 7 for passing their ID to someone else, and 11 for disorderly conduct.

Emergency medical personnel treated 100 people, with 20 taken to the hospital. Condition reports were not available.

The announced attendance for the game was 110,922.
