Apparently one of the coat hangers in your tinfoil hat has come loose. Levin and Dingle both own the sub par work they've done for Michigan over generations and that has nothing to do with the Republicans, the only remaining legitimate political party after pelosi, obama and reid have so soiled what is left of the democrat party. Another one of Levin's low points was his objection to our missile defense shield in Alaska, which in his judgement was not yet shooting 100% of the missiles targeted. Hopefully he has now Chairing committee overseeing holiday decorations at the obama White House (other then Christmas, which would be too complicated for him). ...and it's good to see you're upset about insane spending - now is your chance to prove it at the voting booth!! LOL

So Shep, from 2001-20006 when your saintly Repubs had both houses and the pretzel choker in the oval office why did nothing happen? Too busy cutting and running from Afghanistan to Iraq and blowing a trillion in Iraq and supporting bridges to nowhere? How noble! Jhonny, cinnabar and CBGhost, How soon you forget all about Billy Tauzin and Tom Delay. But you guys approve of "free market" no bid contracts and 2 million $/yr bribes! Drug pushers bribes!!

Perfect - the man who helped make legions of social workers necessary in Michigan speaking to his foot soldiers. WELFARE POWER!! Levin began his career as Colman Young did, with great promise and possibility and devolved to present day, little more then one of nit wit pelosi's stooges that does what ever the democrat party tells him to. Levin made a name for himself during President George H Bush's administration by blocking lawful federal judge appointments as one of the gang of 14 and the reason the democratic party was renamed the democrat party, pointing out that this generation has become a disgrace to democracy and no longer deserves the reference. In 2008 when democrats owned all three branches of government (shudder), Levin COMPLETELY FAILED to put forth rule changes that would allow Southeast Michigan to obtain rapid rail funding as other states have over the decades. As the rules stand now, Michgian has no chance of enjoying the kind of federal support other states required to get their mass transit systems up and running.

Now that we have heard from the curmudgeonly nattering nabobs of negativity, we can get on with the rest of our day. You geniuses might wish to consider the fact that Sen Levin is a good Sen who represents Michigan quite well according to the voters. And we voters are what matters. As for the Affordable Health Care Law, did it ever occur to you that our representatives and their staff know what's in legislation because they are writing it? As for seniority being part of the problem, you are absolutely correct. I think it is time for McConnell and McCain to retire especially since they come from states that recieve more of those tax dollars than they send making them beholden to the largesse from the more advanced states that generate the revenue! But those guys aren't phony? No sirree!!

IT WASN'T EVEN WRITTEN!!!!! How can you support something before the committee actually decides whats going to be in it. I am sure he might of had an idea but the INTELLIGENT thing to say is " I like what is being said but I will wait until it is written before I make a desicion. He is a exactly what we dont want anymore. Partisian politics. Next time vote with your head not just because he is a dinosaur.

My favorite Carl Levin story is when he threw his support behind Obama care before it was even released. Carl how can you support something you never read. Then there was Obama jobs bill. In Carls web site he threw his support behind Obama jobs bill on Friday one day after Obama's speech. Details were not release until that Sunday. Carl how can you support something you never read? Talk about voting party lines. Carl next time lets try something different. Read the proposal first then you can make an educated desicion if it is good or not. How does this guy keep getting elected?

When will someone ask both of our senators why they can not pass a budget in the last 900+ days. This includes 2 years when the democrats had a supper majority. the republican house has passed several and all have been tabled. It is time for Levin to stop campagining and get the job done.

Somehow, they blame it on Republicans. This is fun to hear, because implicit in that claim is the admission that even when they control the White House, the House, and the Senate (and the press as well), they still can't provide leadership.

Sen. Levin is actually a good guy and decent politician but he will be reinforcing his mantra of more spending and more government to college students who think its the answer to everything less government should be the message - not more - and this generation is being taught to look to government to solve problems --- the next 20 years will be scary once they get positions of power based on this expectation

Levin is part of the problem not part of the solution. He backs more deficit spending, not less. They guy is a hack.
