Victim robbed at gunpoint in his Ypsilanti Township home
An Ypsilanti Township man was robbed at gunpoint by two intruders Tuesday evening, but police say the incident does not appear to be random.
The robbery occurred at about 8:20 p.m. in the 3300 block of East Michigan Avenue.
Two men entered the residence and threatened the homeowner with a “long gun,” according to the sheriff’s summary.
The robbers took prescription pills, money and an iPod. They fled in a purple Chevy Malibu with two other people who didn't get out of the car, reports said.
The first robber was described as a light complected black man wearing a light leather coat with fur around the collar. The second robber was also described as black and was wearing a black coat with rhinestones.
The investigation is ongoing.

Fellow gun enthusiasts, I would highly encourage you to be more circumspect in your posted comments. Primarily for your sakes, should you ever be involved in any incidents highly charged comments as the above will do you no favors and couse considerable harm. Second for the gun community as a whole comments can and will be used against us as examples for antis of gun-nuts. We know this is not the case, but if we want to win back our freedoms and teach the merits of self defense, we must speak better than our less aware bretheren. Thanks

This is exactly why I carry a gun. Exactly why I am on a state of HIGH ALERT at all times. Mess with me and you die. That simple. Don't feel like dying today? Don't mess with me or my family or any of my possessions.
