Washtenaw Christian Academy Top Scholars

Washtenaw Christian Academy held its 2013 graduation ceremonies Friday, May 31, 7 p.m. at Washtenaw Christian Academy. The class has 16 graduates.

Parents: Debora and Edward Carr
Activities and Awards: Earl was the captain of the varsity basketball team and has been a member of both the varsity soccer and baseball teams. He is the president of the senior class and the president of the National Beta Club. Earl is a leader of the praise band and has been involved in small group studies and the retreat planning committee. His current GPA is 4.12 and will be graduating as valedictorian. He has received the Trustee Honors Scholarship, Scholar Summit Award, Religious Leadership scholarship, a legacy award, and the Robert D. Swanson scholarship from Alma College.
Plans After Graduation: Earl will attend Alma College in the fall where he plans to pursue a degree in Computer Science. He has also been accepted to the Alma College choirs and given a vocal performance scholarship. His dream is to use his Computer Science degree to design innovative software of his own.
