Washtenaw Community College will not be offering any 4-year programs, despite recent legislation that allows community colleges to do so in select areas of study, reported The Washtenaw Voice.
The legislation allows community colleges to offer degrees in cement technology, maritime technology, energy production technology, or culinary arts.
WCC told The Voice it has no interest in competing with the nearby universities that already offer 4-year degrees.
