The website is www.mikefriedforcommissioner.org.

Fried said what makes his candidate website unique is that it also provides public service and news information to Washtenaw County residents. A news feed page is devoted to local and national news feeds of interest to Washtenaw County residents.

A local information page includes links to local government, community organizations, events and nonprofit agencies.

Fried, a Democrat, is running for the 11th District seat being vacated by Jeff Irwin, who is running for state representative.

Fried faces several opponents in the Aug. 3 primary election, including Alice Ralph, LuAnne Bullington and Yousef Rabhi.

Gotta love this enthusiasm in serving the public! Anyone know who is going to start representing Saline, Lodi, Manchester on the County Commission? There must be someone out there who is more than what we got - a name that we recognize, but that's about it.
