Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies chase down wanted man after report of shots fired

Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies responding to a report of shots fired chased down and arrested a man who ran from a suspicious vehicle in Ypsilanti Township, reports said.

Deputies were sent to the the 500 block of Woburn Drive at 8 p.m. Sunday after a caller reported hearing shots fired.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle, and the passenger ran, reports said. Deputies gave chase and caught the 30-year-old Ypsilanti Township man.

The man was expected to be charged with resisting police and was wanted on a felony warrant for delivery/manufacture of marijuana.

This is the same area where the person was robbed of a large amount of meny last week. Maybe it is the same person who robbed them????
