7:01 a.m.: No traffic on South Main Street heading toward the stadium.

7:39 a.m.: Reports from Twitter that doors to Michigan Stadium have opened. Security wasn't moving because metal detectors are not reliable in lightning.

9:11 a.m. via text from Linda Diane Feldt: In line gate 3 took half hour so far people still walking to lines on stadium. Biked here, friend almost hit by car door. People were flinging open doors on main to discharge passengers so it was a little scary.

9:17 a.m. via text from Jodie Bolinger: They're trying to redirect foot traffic to the gates nearer Stadium Blvd to ease congestion. They're having difficulty pulling ambulances into the stadium because of the crowds.
