Police have urged motorists to be vigilant in the wake of the I-96 corridor shootings, but have also said people shouldn't be afraid to travel on the freeway, especially given the fact most of the shootings have not occurred on the highway.

MLive has put together a list of key facts in the investigation into the shootings, which began Oct. 16.
