A woman was robbed of her cash as she was returning to her car after picking up a takeout order in Ypsilanti Township Wednesday evening, the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department reported.

The unarmed robbery occurred in the 1400 block of Ecorse Road at about 7:10 p.m.

Police said the woman went into the restaurant, got her takeout order and was walking back to her vehicle when she was approached by a man who grabbed cash out of her hand. She was not injured.

The robber fled with another man in a green Ford Explorer. The woman was unable to provide a detailed description of the men.
